It’s becoming an annual warning at this point.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources say people need to stay away from blue-green algae blooms in local lakes. Blue-green algae can make people sick, but DNR says it can be deadly to dogs. The DNR says your best bet is to just stay away all together. DNR is also asking people to report algae blooms to the state so they can be tracked.
