Wisconsin could be the next state to overhaul its business laws.
Lawmakers held a hearing at the Capitol on Wednesday to talk about updating the rules for businesses. The idea is to get Wisconsin on the same page as 23 other states. State Rep. Ron Tusler said it would make it easier for companies to come to Wisconsin, and it would improve the state’s business climate. The overhaul has been in the works for about five years. There’s no word on when lawmakers could vote on the changes.
