The average price for regular gas is up a nickel-a-gallon statewide compared to a week ago.
Heading into the weekend Triple-A says the price at the pump in Wisconsin is three-dollars-and-two-cents a gallon while the national average is three-16. Drivers are paying two-93 in Appleton and Fond du Lac, two-97 in Green Bay and two-98 in Madison. Janesville, Kenosha County, Racine, Milwaukee, La Crosse and Eau Claire are posting prices over three-dollars a gallon.
