The University of Wisconsin is likely going to have to test far fewer students for the coronavirus this fall.
The school yesterday said its new survey shows that 96-percent of students who will live in the dorms on the Madison campus are or will be vaccinated. University Housing Director Jeff Novak says the survey is good news. The dorms in Madison were the hotspot for last fall’s coronavirus breakout at the university. UW-Madison is not requiring coronavirus vaccinations this fall, but says unvaccinated students will have to be tested regularly.
