The sheriff in Wausau is looking into what happened with the county tornado sirens Sunday night.
People said the sirens went off, but it wasn’t the normal siren sound. Instead, people say it sounded like an engine revving. Marathon County’s sheriff says sirens in Wausau and Rothschild both went off. The sheriff hopes to know what happened by the end of the week.
