Disabled voters in Wisconsin say some cities and counties make voting easy, but they say others need to do some work.
The state’s Disability Vote Coalition yesterday said a new report into voting accessibility and poll access shows improvement. The group’s Barbara Beckert says curbside voting is particularly helpful, but there needs to be more audits at polling places to make sure disabled voters can get to the ballot box and cast their vote. The group also wants to expand the list of acceptable voter IDs in the state, or make it easier for disabled voters to get an ID.
