University of Wisconsin quarterback Graham Mertz is ready to cash-in on his name and likeness.
Mertz this week debuted a new personal logo. The logo combines his initials, G and M, and twists them so they look like his jersey number, five. Mertz is one of the first college football players to move on the NCAA’s new rules for name, image, and likeness payments. The NCAA says student athletes will be allowed to profit from endorsements, autographs, and other deals. Athletes will not be paid to play.
