A fireworks complaint turns into a call for backup in Eau Claire.
Police detailed what happened in the department’s notable case log. They say officers responded to a home Sunday on a noise complaint and found a man with a gun. Police drew their guns and requested backup before the person dropped what was actually a B-B-gun and cooperated with officers. They say the person was not threatening officers or anyone else with the gun. It appears no arrests were made.
