The top Republican in the Wisconsin Assembly says Governor Evers now gets to decide if there will be more ‘shenanigans’ in elections in the state.
The Republican-controlled Assembly yesterday approved a series of election reforms they say will close the loopholes that were exploited last year. Among the changes are new rules for absentee and indefinitely confined voters. All of the reforms are most certainly doomed. Governor Evers has said he won’t sign any new laws that make it more difficult for people to vote.
