La Crosse’s Houska Park is going to be for the homeless for the next few weeks or months.
La Crosse Mayor Mitch Reynolds yesterday said the city is allowing people to live in the park until La Crosse can come-up with a better, long term solution. The decision also means the homeless will be moved out of Cameron Park. The mayor says Cameron Park was too small and had too many businesses nearby to accommodate the homeless.
