The state of Wisconsin may soon pay a little more for paper, but Democrats at the State Capitol say it’s a good thing.
A number of lawmakers yesterday introduced a pair of ‘buy American’ proposals. One would encourage the state to buy American, while the other would require the state to buy paper from a Wisconsin-based company. State Senator Brad Pfaff says buying paper from a Wisconsin company helps Wisconsin workers in Wisconsin mills, and helps keep Wisconsin communities going.
