Fewer kids in Wisconsin are going to have a choice of where to go to school. Governor Tony Evers on Friday vetoed a plan that would expand the number of kids who qualify for the state’s school voucher program.
The expansion added kids from families who make up to three-times the federal poverty level, which comes to just under 80-thousand-dollars for a family of four. Governor Evers says he doesn’t want to take money away from traditional public schools.
