An Indiana man picked up and OWI while traveling through Wisconsin.
Heading into the weekend on Friday, June 11th at approximately 2:03 PM a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a westbound vehicle on I-94 for speed. Upon approaching the vehicle the Trooper detected the odor of marijuana. A subsequent investigation including standardized field sobriety test was conducted.
Mr. Jackson was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance, with a passenger less than 16 years old. Passengers in the vehicle included 1 adult male, a 4- year old, a 3-year old and a 1-year old. An evidentiary blood test was obtained from Mr. Jackson at a local hospital and he was released to responsible party.
Mr. Jackson was also cited for speed and operating without a license.
