A Wisconsin couple is using a loophole to celebrate Pride month.
Memo Fachino and his husband, Lance Mier, were told by their Racine neighborhood association they had to take down their rainbow flag. The rules state that only the U.S. flag can be flown. But there aren’t any rules about light bulbs, so they bought multicolored floodlights to bathe their home in a rainbow. Images of the house went viral online. Fachino says they aren’t trying to stick it to the association or anything, they just wanted a way to express themselves within the rules.
