Eau Claire County District Attorney Gary Kings says he is cooperating with the investigation into whether he sexually harassed a woman who works in his office, but he also says there’s another side to the case.
The state’s Department of Administration yesterday confirmed it is investigating King for how he spoke to one of the women who worked in his office. The DOA report details times when the woman says King asked her to get a room and take some pictures, times when he played with her hair or asked her to sit on his lap, a time when he tried to kiss her, and a time when the woman says Kings invited her to sexual acts.
King said in a statement that he has provided investigators with a ‘significant amount of documentation in support of my position on this matter.’
