City leaders in Eau Claire say they have a once in a lifetime opportunity with the city’s stimulus money.
The city council this week started talking about how to spend Eau Claire’s 13-and-a-half-million-dollars in American Rescue Plan money. Council President Terry Weld says they want to maximize the money’s impact. Eau Claire’s finance director says the city usually spends about 13-million-dollars a year on roads, and he says a one time bump like that could make a huge difference.
