There is almost no way Wisconsin’s latest proposed gun law will actually become law.
Republicans at the statehouse yesterday said they support a plan to essentially declare the state a Second Amendment Sanctuary. The plan would stop the enforcement of certain federal gun laws and would publicly push-back against any federal gun registry or gun seizures. Democrats at the Capitol say the proposal is likely unconstitutional. Even if it gets enough votes, there’s no way Governor Evers will sign it into law.
