The man who stole over a million-dollars from Eau Claire County taxpayers wants to get out of prison early.
Larry Lokken earlier this month asked to be let out of prison. He’s served just five years of a nine year sentence. Wisconsin has a law that allows inmates over 65 to ask to be let out of prison early. The state’s Department of Corrections says Lokken is at a low level to reoffend. He’s paid back just over 18 thousand-dollars of the 700 thousand he’s supposed to repay to Eau Claire County.
