Officials at Dane County Regional Airport say travel is up significantly over this time last year.
There are around 18-hundred-travelers using Dane County Regional Airport every day right now. Airport spokesperson Michael Riechers says this time last year when theCOVID-19 restrictions first kicked-in there were only around two hundred-passengers a day coming through the airport. Transportation Security Administration’s Frank Pipia says nationwide travel is up as well with around a million-and a half people using commercial air travel daily right now.
