The Wisconsin Supreme Court’s latest ruling may make people think twice about trying to break-up a fight or deal with an unruly customer.
The court ruled 4-1 yesterday that a man who was kicked out of a Saukville bar back in 2014, and hit his head, can sue the man who kicked him out. Jacob Tetting worked at the bar but wasn’t working that night. He claimed immunity from the lawsuit because he said the other man was trespassing. The court shot that claim down. A Milwaukee County court will now hear the case again.
