There are more people asking Governor Evers to get people back to work in the state.
Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce yesterday joined 50 chambers of commerce from across the state to ask the governor to end enhanced federal unemployment benefits. Those benefits mean an extra 300 dollars-a-week. The WMC and the chambers say that’s just enough to keep some people home. Wisconsin businesses say they need workers, and the extra benefits are making it more difficult to find those workers.
