It’s Severe Weather Awareness Week in Wisconsin.
The Eau Claire Communications Center is planning to sound its warning sirens Thursday at 1 p.m. and the National Weather Service is conducting mock tornado drills shortly after. It’ll be partly sunny with a high of 54 degrees Thursday, so the sirens and drills shouldn’t indicate any real threat of severe weather.
