A-G Josh Kaul yesterday asked lawmakers to expand his power to cover discrimination in housing, employment, and education. Kaul doesn’t have any examples of cases where he was limited and couldn’t file charges. Democratic lawmakers in Madison say the new powers are needed to make up for the lack of equity in housing, schools, and healthcare.
