Students who go to charter schools outside of their home district will continue to miss-out on football, basketball, and volleyball.
Governor Tony Evers last week vetoed a plan that would have allowed some school choice students to play sports or enroll in other extracurriculars at their home school district. The governor says lawmakers should not be deciding things for local school boards. State Rep. Barb Dittrich, who sponsored the plan, says there could be a lawsuit in the works to make sure all students in Wisconsin have the same options.
