Voters will pick the next state superintendent next week.
One of the women in that race, Deb Kerr, came to Eau Claire yesterday to talk with parents. Kerr says she wants to return public schools in the state to what they used to be, which means dropping common core and re-teaching phonics. Kerr is also a big supporter of school choice. She will face Jill Underly next week.
