The Wisconsin man who was shot in the back by a Kenosha police officer last summer is suing.
Jacob Blake’s legal team filed a federal lawsuit against officer Rusten Sheskey, accusing him of acting with excessive force and reckless indifference. Blake was left paralyzed after being shot numerous times in the back. The shooting sparked days of unrest in Kenosha last August.
