Ed Steinacker’s family yesterday said he didn’t return from walking his dog Saturday morning, and they fear the worst. The family says the search for Steinacker is now a recovery effort. Eau Claire police and firefighters spent the weekend looking for Steinacker, even searching the river. But they have not yet found him.
