Wisconsin needs some rain, so the soggy ground is a welcome sight today.
The state’s Department of Natural Resources yesterday reported 100 wildfires across the state over the past five days. All of the fires are west and north of the Milwaukee-Madison-Green Bay triangle. DNR says many of them were in the Northwoods. DNR says dry brush and high winds made the fires and the state’s fire danger worse.
