WI Coronavirus Snapshot Improves, Local Vaccination Clinics Continue

Public health managers in Eau Claire say they are making progress on getting teachers in the county vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The health department says they’re averaging between 200 and 600 people per-clinic. The focus since the beginning of the month has been to get the shots to teachers.

Wisconsin’s latest coronavirus snapshot shows more good news.

The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday reported a seven-day-positivity rate of just over two-percent. DHS also says the recovery rate in the state is nearly 98-percent. That means that nearly 555-thousand of the 567-thousand people who’ve ever tested positive for the virus in the state have fully recovered. CLICK HERE FOR MORE FROM WI DHS.
