Wisconsin’s attorney general says a robocalling firm that flooded peoples phones for years has been shut down.
A-G Josh Kaul joined the Federal Trade Commission and 38 other states in taking action against the company Associated Community Services. Kaul says ACS would bombard people with calls for shady charities. In Wisconsin, ACS made 43-million calls to over one-million different people. ACS was fined 110-million-dollars, but the judge suspended that fine because the company and its affiliates cannot make the payments.
