More kids in Eau Claire could be learning from home for years to come.
The city’s school board last night agreed to expand the Virtual School program. Virtual school is different from the remote learning that Eau Claire has used during the coronavirus. Virtual School is a full time program that dates back to the fall of 2019. Right now there are 64 students enrolled in Virtual School, but the school board last night agreed to open enrollment to all students and lift the cap on the program. The expansion starts next fall.
