Hospitalizations are down significantly in Eau Claire.
Local hospitals were treating nearly half of their patient populations for COVID-19 in November and December, but those cases have gone down to just a few patients today. There are 30 people hospitalized for COVID-19 in the Northwest region of Wisconsin, according to the state health department.
