Wolf hunters in Wisconsin will head to the woods today.
The state’s first wolf season since the gray wolf was removed from the endangered species list begins today. An appeals court judge on Friday denied a request from the state’s Department of Natural Resources to stop the hunting season. Hunters have until Sunday to bag 200 wolves.
