A man picks up a second OWI after a rollover crash.
39 year old Jeffrey A Curtis, from Stillwater, MN has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 2nd offense, with one child in the vehicle under the age of 16.
It was on Sunday, February 21st at approximately 8:00pm when the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on I-94 westbound just west of Roberts. After making contact with the occupants, the Trooper could smell an odor of intoxicant coming from the driver.
A subsequent investigation including standardized field sobriety test was conducted and Mr. Curtis was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the of an intoxicant 2nd offense, with passenger less than 16 years old and cited for possession of open intoxicants. The passenger in the vehicle was a 9-year old male.
