Eau Claire police are asking prosecutors to add homicide charges to the list for last week’s deadly shooting.
Police want the case against Selwyn Smith upgraded. Originally, police arrested Smith on a weapons charge. Investigators are not saying just what happened, but do say Smith shot a man he knew at a house in the 500-block of Dodge Street around Friday afternoon.
