Eau Claire is going to wait awhile longer to try and find a new city manager.
The city council agreed to pause the search for a new city manager for several months. City leaders say they want to find a wider slate of qualified candidates. Engineering Director Dave Solberg will serve as interim city manager until someone new is picked.
