Upgrades are being planned for Wisconsin Dells Parkway due to safety concerns.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is in the early stages of planning a project aimed at reducing traffic crashes along a two-mile stretch of the corridor from County Road A and East Adams Street. Several major attractions sit along this stretch, including Noah’s Ark and Mt. Olympus Theme and Water Park.
Transportation officials say the project is estimated between ten to thirteen-million dollars, which will be funded partly from the Highway Safety Improvement program. Construction is expected to begin in 2025.
