With the state legislature potentially striking down the current statewide mask mandate, the Eau Claire City Council and Eau Claire County Board have scheduled special meetings on Tuesday, Feb 2, to act on a back-up local mandate that would take effect if the state order ends.
The City of Eau Claire has also posted a community survey looking for citizen input about a local mandate.
