A man from Oshkosh went from trying to outrun the police in Dodge County to trying to wait them out.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says deputies helped in a police chase Saturday night that ended with an eight-hour standoff. The chase crossed through Juneau and into Beaver Dam. That’s when officers were able to stop the SUV they’d been chasing. But the driver refused to surrender. Authorities set-up a perimeter and waited.
Eventually they were able to talk the 25-year-old man out of his SUV. He was taken to the hospital, then to jail.
