Wisconsin is getting ready to go to court over forever chemicals.
Governor Tony Evers on Friday asked the state’s attorney general to start looking for an outside law firm to represent the state. Forever chemicals, or PFAS chemicals, are in all sorts of things but are most known for their use in firefighting foam. The governor says PFAS chemicals are polluting water and soil across the state. He wants the chemical’s makers to pay.
