Meanwhile, on the national level the CDC is reporting the largest single-day increase of coronavirus vaccinations so far.

The agency says at least one-point-six million shots were given out on Friday, bringing the total to more than 19-million doses. That’s nearly half of what’s been distributed around the U.S. This week’s number of shots given is also 22-percent higher compared to last week.
