An Eau Claire man is looking at charges as part of a missing dog case.
Prosecutors in Chippewa Falls filed charges against Joshua Erickson this week. Police say he took the dog from a neighbor, then later killed it. No one is saying exactly why, and no one is offering any other specifics about the case. Erickson initially told police he had no idea what happened to the dog, but investigators later said they found text messages where Erickson admitted to killing it.
