The City of Eau Claire is applying for state money to improve its public drinking water system.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says Eau Claire is an applicant for the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program that could replace lead service lines through the city. The D-N-R will now conduct an environmental review before approving the funds.
