Teachers who are not in their classrooms and people who are in jail or prison could be among the next round of people to get the coronavirus vaccine in Wisconsin.
A state committee on Tuesday agreed to move forward with a large group of people included as part of Phase 1b of the state’s vaccination plan. Wisconsin has yet to vaccinate everyone in phase 1a, which includes seniors and healthcare workers.
The plan to move forward covers more than a million ‘essential workers’ and ‘at risk’ people. The list also includes police officers, firefighters, and grocery store workers.
