Eau Claire City Council President Terry Weld is declaring January 2021 Human Trafficking Awareness Month.
The proclamation today will be presented at the City Council meeting tonight. It also acknowledges Eau Claire organization Fierce Freedom as a valuable resource for information and guidance to fight human trafficking. National Human Trafficking Awareness Month is an initiative from the Department of Homeland Security.
