A lot of people went to a state park in Wisconsin last year.
The state’s Department of Natural Resources yesterday said almost 21-million people visited a park in the state, that’s three-million-more than in 2019. Revenue at the state’s parks was up as well. DNR’s Chris Pedretti said annual pass sales jumped 40-percent, mainly because day passes were not available. DNR says the jump in both visitors and passes is directly attributed to the coronavirus shutdowns that left most other places in the state closed.
