UW Wrapping Up Surge Testing

The University of Wisconsin is getting ready to end testing for the coronavirus.

The school yesterday said it is phasing-out surge testing at campuses across the state. The university offered nearly 170-thousand rapid tests in November and December, and the school says about 14-thousand students tested positive for the virus. University leaders say quarantining those 14-thousand students put a serious dent in the virus’ spread on campus and in campus communities.
