The lawyer for Jacob Blake is disappointed about the decision not to charge the police officer who shot and paralyzed him back in August.
Attorney B’Ivory LaMarr said the decision by Kenosha prosecutors proves police are held to different standards of justice than everyone else. He claimed there are three justice systems in the nation: one for black and brown people, one for police, and another for everyone else. He vowed to continue to fight for justice in every remedy that’s available to them.
Attorney B’Ivory LaMarr said it’s disappointing that prosecutors declined to charge the officer.
