We will know soon whether there will be charges for the officers involved in Jacob Blake’s shooting.
No one is saying when that decision will come, but the city of Kenosha is preparing for it right now. City leaders are expected to vote today on a resolution that could declare an emergency in the city ahead of any decision. There are reports that businesses downtown have already boarded-up their windows. Blake was shot in the back while resisting arrest back in August. That shooting started nights of violence that saw fires, fights, riots, and eventually the shooting deaths of two people in Kenosha.
