The final price tag for Wisconsin’s presidential recount will be less than three-million-dollars.
Clerks and Milwaukee and Dane counties yesterday said they shaved over 300-thousand-dollars off their original estimates. The Wisconsin Elections Commission cut its price tag by another 20-thousand-dollars. Milwaukee’s clerk says the recount took less time than expected. The WEC says it has until mid-January to refund the president.
